Longford Town FC is pleased to announce that Joe Gorman has signed for the 2020 season. Joe impressed in pre season and played a part in last night’s friendly v Bohemians at the AUL. The game finished 2-0 to Bohemians. The 25 year old defender was most recently with Cliftonville but also had spells with
De Town battled back brilliantly from 2-0 down to draw with the League and Cup champions, Dundalk in a friendly at Oriel Park last night. Dundalk got their opener through Daniel Kelly just before the half time whistle. Patrick Hoban put the hosts 2-0 up. Adam Evans and Mick McDonnell with the Longford Town goals. Another fantastic result for Neale Fenn’s side on the road!
Longford Town FC will play at least 4 pre-season friendlies before the upcoming 2019 SSE Airtricity League First Division season begins.
The first three announced are against Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Double Champions; Dundalk FC.
Neale Fenn’s men will take on Shamrock Rovers at Roadstone on Saturday, 26th January 2019 with a kick off time of 11.30am.
Three days later on Tuesday, 29th January, they will take on the Red and Black of Bohemians at the AUL with that game kicking off at 7.30pm.
The Pride of the Midlands will then take on the mighty Dundalk at Oriel Park on Tuesday, 5th February at 7.45pm.

Another Pre-Season Friendly has been announced. Bohemians will take on Longford Town at the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh on Tuesday 30th January at 19.45. More fixtures to be announced as we get them confirmed.
