Towering Center Back Michael McDonnell has re-signed with De Town for the 2020 season.
Beating off stiff opposition to the Dubliner’s signature, Manager Daire Doyle spoke highly of McDonnell when revealing the confirmation.
McDonnell was an ever present figure in the Town back line in 2019 along side recently re-signed Shane Elworthy.

Shane Elworthy is the latest player to re-sign for Longford Town ahead of the 2020 season.
Manager Daire Doyle could not hide his delight in securing the signature of full back Elworthy after beating off stiff competition from several other clubs looking at the Dubliner.
Elworthy was a key member of the promotion challenging squad last season and will no doubt continue his fine form into the new season.
