Longford Town FC Pre-Season Friendlies 2019
Longford Town FC will play at least 4 pre-season friendlies before the upcoming 2019 SSE Airtricity League First Division season begins.
The first three announced are against Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Double Champions; Dundalk FC.
Neale Fenn’s men will take on Shamrock Rovers at Roadstone on Saturday, 26th January 2019 with a kick off time of 11.30am.
Three days later on Tuesday, 29th January, they will take on the Red and Black of Bohemians at the AUL with that game kicking off at 7.30pm.
The Pride of the Midlands will then take on the mighty Dundalk at Oriel Park on Tuesday, 5th February at 7.45pm.

Longford Town FC U13 National League Open Trials

Longford Town FC have been accepted as founding members of the inaugural U13 Boy’s National League for the 2019 Season which will commence in March 2019. which will be another step our plans to complete the pathway for elite male players right through from Longford Town Academy to U13/15/17/19 to Senior level in the SSE Airtricity League.
Please register your interest in attending our upcoming open trials for Longford Town’s new U13 National League Team which will compete in the inaugural FAI U13 National League starting in March 2019.
Saturday, 29th December 2018 at 12pm-2pm in City Calling Stadium
Saturday, 5th January 2019 at 12pm-2pm in City Calling Stadium
All players must be prepared to play on either grass or astroturf surfaces for the trials. Attendance at both trials is preferred. Players must register by 11.45am on each day.
An extended squad will be selected and will train twice a week evenings with a training/game at the weekend. A final squad of 20 players will be selected and registered by March 2018.

Congrats to the Murrays for contributing to the SSE Airtricity League Pitch of the Year

Congratulations once again to Seamus and Paul Murray and their team for winning SSE Airtricity League Pitch of the Year 2018.
An award that was long overdue for the club, the City Calling Stadium played host to multiple underage international games this year along with the senior and underage games for De Town.
