Premier Division Fixtures Released For 2021!

Longford Town FC will take on Derry City in the club's first game back in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

The game will take place on Saturday 20th March with a kick off time of 7.30PM at Bishopsgate.

De Town then travel to Dublin the following Friday to take on our Red & Black counterparts in Bohs in Dalymount Park.

Other key fixtures to note include our first game against our friendly neighbours Sligo Rovers who we take on at Bishopsgate on the 3rd of April followed by a tough trip away to fellow promotion winners Drogheda United.

Speaking after the fixtures release, LTFC Manager Daire Doyle gave his view on the news;

I'm delighted to see the fixtures come out today. It's nice to finally see dates confirmed and to know we are to face Derry City in the opening game of the season at home. Every game at Premier level is a real challenge and the preparation continues now, to ensure we are ready and firing come March 20th. We can't wait to get going and will go into the season full of positivity that we will perform at this level.
