PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY: Cliftonville 2-1 Longford Town

Cliftonville defeated Longford Town 2-1 in pre-season in their North Belfast home of Solitude. The home side emerged victorious in this friendly thanks to early first-half goals from Gormley and Donnelly. Longford pulled a goal back through Aaron Dobbs but the Reds hung on for the win after what was a quiet second half of few chances.
