Paddy Kirk Signs!

Longford Town FC is delighted to announce the signing of Paddy Kirk to the club.

Paddy comes from the other Red and Black, Bohemians FC and is a versatile left back that will bring premier division experience to Daire Doyle's charges for next season.'

Speaking to LTFC.ie, Daire shared his joy in capturing the highly sought after Kirk;

I'm delighted to get Paddy signed. He will be a fantastic addition to the team and will add a huge amount of quality, leadership and strength to the team so it's great to get the deal done.

Paddy sat down with LTFC.ie today also and revealed why he chose De Town as his destination for 2021;

I'm really excited to get going with Longford. After a good chat with Daire, I was really impressed with what he had to say. He spoke about the values of the club and what he expects from his players and this really appealed to me. The opportunity to play consistent games in the top division in Ireland is what everyone wants to do, so I'm delighted to be able to do that for Longford.

When pushed on what he hopes to achieve for 2021, the young Dubliner didn't give too much away but finished off with a note that LTFC fans would like;

I'm excited by the opportunity to test myself and the team against the best in the country and to give 100% every week for my manager, team-mates, the club and all the town supporters.
