Longford Town 4-3 Athlone Town (Friendly)

The newly promoted Longford Town side which started their first home pre season match at the City Calling Stadium on Tuesday night, recorded a 4-3 win for the home side which helped warm local hearts on what was a bitterly cold night. Don Cowan scored twice and Tom Morris & David O'Sullivan with a goal apiece.
