Longford Town 1-1 Monaghan Utd Cavan FP
Darren McGarry’s troops secured a draw with a late,late equaliser at home on Saturday. It looked like the visitors would leave the City Calling Stadium with all three points as they led 1-0 in the last minute. However, the Town were awarded a last minute penalty which was slotted home by Conor Cummins.

Monaghan Utd-Cavan FP 0-6 Longford Town
James Dermody’s charges recorded an emphatic victory in Gortakeegan on Saturday with this comprehensive victory. Dylan Steward and Patrick O’Sullivan both scored two goals each, while Dragos Mamaliga and Daniel Luczynski grabbed the other goals.

Longford Town FC Academy
The successful Longford Town FC Academy continues every Monday evening at the City Calling Stadium from 6pm to 8pm. Between 6pm and 7pm, the 6 to 8 year olds will be coached, while coaching for the 9 to 11 year olds will take place between 7pm and 8pm.
The Academy night will also take place on the August Bank Holiday Monday.
