U19’s Ben Lynch and Thomas McLaughlin added to First Team

Longford Town FC Manager Daire Doyle has called up U19 stars Ben Lynch and Thomas McLaughlin to the first team squad for the 2021 season.

Speaking to LTFC.ie, Daire expressed his delight in being able to give the two young men a chance at Premier Division football;

Both lads were involved with the 19's and the first team last year so they're going to step up and compete at this level also. Ben is a promising left back and Thomas, a central midfielder. It's great to reward youngsters coming through our underage ranks and I'm delighted to see both step up as they have great potential.
