Lee Duffy interview

Longford Town are pleased to announce the signing of forward Lee Duffy. The 24 year old spent last season with Drogheda United, making his debut against De Town in the Leinster Senior cup.

Speaking to Longford Town Supporters club, Navan based Duffy is eager to get started. "I'm delighted to be joining Longford Town and look forward to scoring goals for the team".

Lee began his League of Ireland career with Shelbourne, also making his debut against Longford. He joined Drogheda last season, appearing 27 times and scoring 7 goals.

Duffy is ambitious as he looks forward to the coming season "Hopefully we can push on (in the league) and get a European place next season"
