Match Preview: Bohemians v Longford Town

De Town head to Dalymount Park on Sunday evening for our third meeting with our Red & Black counterparts of the 2021 season.

Longford go into Sunday's game off the back of a 1-1 draw at Bishopsgate with Drogheda United. Dylan Grimes' 76th minute equaliser secured a vital point for De Town in the pursuit of Waterford up the table.

Bohs go into the game off the back of a very impressive 3-2 league win over St. Pats a couple of weeks ago. They followed this with an emphatic 3-0 win over FC Stjarnan in the UEFA Europa Conference League at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday night.

Last time at Dalymount, a Conor Davis brace in the last 15 minutes of the game completed a great fightback for De Town and secured a point for the club in the second game of the season.

Bohemians, however, made amends when they visited Bishopsgate in May, winning 2-0 convincingly thanks to goals from Liam Burt and Ali Coote, the latter of whom is suspended for Sunday's game.
