Longford Town FC will broadcast our pre-season friendly v Galway United this Saturday 6th March, live from Bishopsgate on Facebook AND YouTube.

Coverage starts at 4.45PM simultaneously on both platforms.

Media & Marketing Manager, James Donnelly spoke about this innovative development;

So we wanted to make this game accessible to everybody interested, Town fan and Galway fan alike, no matter where they are in the world. The reason we have two streams is simple. The Facebook stream will be our 'social stream' where we will encourage fan engagement, actively involve supporters through our social media and comms and have a bit of banter. The YouTube stream will be solely for the football and for those who want to watch the match without any interruptions and it doesn't have the requirement of having an account needed to sign in to watch, etc.

As always, the live broadcast will have full match commentary along with analysis and maybe a few surprises thrown in.
